Built as part of Dale Road Park in 1994, the community building has played an important role in Spondon’s story. However, after more than 30 years, it spent around a decade empty and unused.

The building has recently been adopted by the CIC, with the aim of bringing it back into community use and giving it a new purpose.

This consultation is the first step in exploring how the building could be redeveloped into a welcoming, flexible and sustainable space for Spondon, supporting local activities, sport and community life for years to come.

After 10 years empty, it’s time to give the building a future.
